Meet our CounselLors

Michelle Garraway

Counselling Supervisor at

Blue Sky Learning

Owner of The Relationship Agency

I am a Registered Social Worker who  worked with Blue Sky Learning as a therapist and ADHD Coach and now leads the supervision of our counselling practice! I value curiosity, compassion, connection, and ethical practice and love being able to support new therapists in developing their own values, identities, and practices in therapy.

In addition to supervising at Blue Sky I run my own group practice, The Relationship Agency, that specializes in couples, relationships, and life's transitions and challenges such as racial trauma, anxiety, caregiving, and grief.

Individual and Couples Counsellor Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with my own ADHD diagnosis. I understand the struggle and shame of living in a world that wasn’t built for neurodiversity. I also know through my work with others and myself that ADHD really means difference, not deficit or disorder. As you learn more about how your brain wiring works, you can begin to live within your strengths. Neurodivergence often comes with other things like anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues and relationship struggles.

My role as a therapist is to support your discovery and growth in a safe and compassionate space. I partner with you as you gain awareness and acceptance of your unique experience and build on innate capacity. Together we work towards achieving your goals, doing well at work, thriving in your relationships and finding peace within yourself. My goal for my clients is for you to create a healthy self-image, confidence and a clear vision for a future with meaning, balance and purpose. My therapy approach is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Let’s connect and see what is possible for you.

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and late-diagnosed autistic person. I have experienced my own challenges of feeling ‘different’ and navigated mental health issues as I came to understand myself and my own needs. I understand how challenging and freeing it can be to process your identity, and that it is not always a linear path. My experience as a client in therapy has had a great influence on how I developed my own approach to working with clients. I approach therapy from a gentle and curious stance, as I aim to meet my clients where they are at in their healing journey.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients to better understand themselves and to work collaboratively to address any challenges along the way. I believe that every client has unique needs that deserve to be honoured through a personalized and tailored approach to care. I use an integrative approach with my clients, meaning that I have experience in different therapeutic modalities that I will adapt to best fit my client’s needs. The modalities I use include Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic, Somatic, and Strength, and Compassion-based. My work is approached from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, neurodiverse, and LGBTQIA+ lens.

I hope that my clients may find meaning in their past and present experiences and that it can be transformative in how they perceive themselves, others, and the world around them. If you are curious about working together, please feel free to contact me to discuss any questions you may have.

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

ADHD  focused therapy could be helpful to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression and related trauma.

When you implement and integrate the practices to calm your nervous system you will feel energized, confident and able to engage more fully as you manage your day to day life. This decrease in overwhelm will create the space you need to fulfill your potential as you generate the results you desire.

As your therapist I will take an integrative approach drawing from evidence based theories for growth and change: Brainspotting (Trauma focused), Mindfulness, Narrative, CBT/DBT, EFT, ACT,  MI and Psychoeducation. I will be focusing on the development of my Brainspotting skills.

As a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) at Blue Sky Learning, I have extensive experience working with individuals with AD(H)D and also have lived experience. This personal insight has driven me to develop a deeper understanding of the unique  gifts & challenges AD(H)D presents.

I will bring  over 25 years as an Educator (OCT) , Consultant , Mentor,  and Psychotherapist into our sessions.   My experience has taught me how important it is to deeply listen to  your unique story so that you may find the solutions you are seeking.

On our journey together I will help you  make meaning and find purposeful direction.  In doing so we will create a compassionate, culturally responsive  space through presence, relationship and self acceptance.

As someone on a personal and ongoing journey of self-exploration, I understand the importance of compassionate self-acceptance in discovering our potential. Registered Social Worker

Seeking counselling is a courageous gift to give yourself when you are dealing with challenges in life and would benefit from some extra support. I have been working in education, advocacy, case management and youth mental health for the past 20 years. I am a Registered Social Worker and I first began practicing as a Counsellor in 2009. My work is informed by anti-oppression, intersectionality, social justice, harm reduction, neurodiversity and positive psychology.  I take an integrative and strengths-based approach to wellbeing that understands the interconnectedness of our whole being.

As part of my counselling practice, I offer to teach meditation and breathing techniques that help calm the mind. My modalities of choice include Trauma Informed Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Nature-Inspired Mindfulness, support for Highly-Sensitive People (HSP) and Narrative Therapy. My approach is collaborative and honours the strengths and wisdom that everyone brings to their own healing journey.

Our biggest healing breakthroughs can come from cultivating self-love and having kindness and compassion for ourselves. Self-love helps us boost our self confidence and sky-rocket into our happiest and most joyful life. I believe that all of our struggles connect to larger social and structural realities, and understanding this allows us to cultivate more kindness for ourselves and others. As a Registered Social Worker sessions are covered under insurance plans.
