Seeking counselling is a courageous gift to give yourself when you are dealing with challenges in life and would benefit from some extra support. I have been working in education, advocacy, case management, and youth mental health for the past 20 years. I am a Registered Social Worker and my work is informed by anti-oppression, intersectionality, social justice, harm reduction, neurodiversity, and positive psychology. I take an approach to well-being that understands the interconnectedness of our whole being.
As part of my counselling practice, I offer to teach meditation and breathing techniques to calm the mind. My approach is collaborative and honors the strengths and wisdom that everyone brings to their healing journey. Our biggest healing breakthroughs can come from cultivating self-love and having kindness and compassion for ourselves. Self-love helps us boost our self-confidence and skyrocket into our happiest and most joyful life. I believe that all of our struggles connect to social and structural realities, and understanding this allows us to cultivate more kindness for ourselves and others.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a late-diagnosed autistic person. I have experienced my own challenges of feeling ‘different’ and navigated mental health issues as I came to understand myself and my own needs. I understand how challenging and freeing it can be to process your identity and that it is not always a linear path. My experience as a client in therapy has had a great influence on how I developed my own approach to working with clients. I approach therapy from a gentle and curious stance, as I aim to meet my clients where they are at in their healing journey.
My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients to better understand themselves and to work collaboratively to address any challenges along the way. I believe that every client has unique needs that deserve to be honored through a personalized and tailored approach to care. I use an integrative approach with my clients, meaning that I have experience in different therapeutic modalities that I will adapt to best fit my client’s needs.
I hope that my clients may find meaning in their past and present experiences and that it can be transformative in how they perceive themselves, others, and the world around them.

As a therapist with lived experience of ADHD, I bring a unique blend of personal insight and professional expertise to my practice. Having lived with ADHD myself, I intimately understand the frustrations and complexities that come with task initiation, chronic procrastination, and emotional regulation. These are not abstract concepts but real challenges I’ve faced—and continue to face—in my everyday life. My personal journey has shaped not only how I relate to my clients but also how I approach therapy, fostering an environment where individuals feel truly understood and supported.
Since 2013, I have worked as a counsellor, helping people manage ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. My professional experience spans over a decade, during which I’ve honed my ability to work with individuals who struggle with the daily obstacles that ADHD presents. I walk alongside clients through these experiences and my own challenges with ADHD allow me to bring a compassionate, empathetic perspective to therapy.
In my work, I focus on practical strategies to help clients navigate life with ADHD, such as breaking down tasks into manageable steps, using visual reminders, and improving emotional regulation. At the same time, I help clients understand the deeper emotional impact ADHD can have, such as feelings of shame, self-doubt, or frustration that may arise from years of living with the condition.
One of the core elements of my work is addressing the emotional toll ADHD can take. I use both my personal experience and therapeutic tools to help clients manage the intense emotions that can accompany ADHD, from anger and irritability to feelings of overwhelm or sadness. Together, we work on strategies that help clients regain control over their emotions, such as mindfulness techniques and emotional temperature checks, allowing them to feel more centered and grounded in their day-to-day lives.
My approach to therapy is not just about managing symptoms—it’s about empowering you to see your strengths. I focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of criticism.
Through our work, I aim to help you break free from the cycle of procrastination and overwhelm, develop a greater sense of control over their lives, and discover practical strategies to thrive, despite the challenges ADHD may present. It’s not just about surviving ADHD—it’s about learning to harness one’s unique strengths and live a fulfilling, meaningful life.

I understand what it’s like to lie awake at night, with thoughts playing over and over in your mind. You try to fill the time with distractions (scrolling, avoiding, overthinking) knowing it’s not helping but feeling stuck in the cycle. Maybe your relationships are suffering, or you just want relief from the overwhelm. If you’re dealing with self-limiting beliefs, people-pleasing, relationship challenges, guilt and shame, difficulty setting boundaries, emotional dysregulation, or patterns of avoidance and procrastination,
you’re not alone.
As a Master of Social Work graduate, I’m here to support you in taking small, achievable steps toward change. Together, we’ll build confidence, introduce mindfulness, and work toward a place where you feel content with who you are. Healing is possible, and I’d love to help you get there.
I show up as honest, curious, and non-judgmental. I value creating a space where you can feel seen and heard without pressure to be anything other than yourself. Outside of counselling, you’ll often find me in nature, with my cat, or spending time with creative hobbies. I believe in the healing power of slowing down, connecting with the natural world, and building self-trust over time.

Supporting neurodivergent youth, adults, parents, and anyone navigating grief, identity, or burnout.
I’m a late-diagnosed AuDHD therapist, a parent of grown autistic children, and I’ve worked in education for over two decades. I know what it’s like to move through systems that weren’t designed for you, or your child. Our voices are often muted in those spaces, and we’re expected to fit in rather than flourish as our authentic selves. I understand how exhausting and isolating that can be.
I work with neurodivergent youth and adults, students who are overwhelmed, parents who are managing their children’s needs, creatives who feel blocked, and people moving through grief, burnout, or life transitions. Some of my clients are reconciling their identity after a late diagnosis. Others are just trying to get through the week without unravelling.
My practice is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and LGBTQ2S+ affirming.
I draw from approaches like somatic therapy, IFS, narrative work, DBT, and solution-focused therapy, but what matters most is attending to what you need. I work at your pace, with attention to safety and clarity. Whether we’re navigating systems, grief, identity, or creative blocks, I’ll meet you there with care and curiosity.
If this sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for, I’d be glad to connect.
