I’m passionate about supporting each student in their individual path, and working with you to develop strategies that help you best get what you want out of education- with particular attention to neurodivergence/disability as it is experienced and lived with. I’ve worked for over a decade with neurodivergent/disabled students as young as 5, and ranging to students in post-secondary school. I aim to support you in ways that are affirming, inclusive, individualized, and strengths focused to help you achieve and exceed your goals. My background is as an educator working with disabled students, and my current work as a PhD student is rooted in critical disability studies and intersectionality to think through educational solutions that empower neurodivergent folks, led by students themselves. dedicated my academic and professional career to working with students in early childhood and post-secondary settings with varying abilities, goals, and dreams and have had the privilege of watching them flourish. I have years of experience working in education in teaching, research, and administrative roles. Currently, my work as a doctoral student is rooted in educational philosophy and ethics to explore experiences of difficulty and trauma in educational settings,
particularly as they pertain to student’s explorations of selfhood. My goal is to offer diverse strength-based and person-oriented approaches that take into consideration your unique history,
